How can I maximize my page use count.
There are several ways to use the FMCN device. One of the best features is to set up a schedule of location
requests for only the times you need. For example, you have a delivery truck and you would like to know its location
every 15 minutes. Your delivery truck only delivers between 8 and 5. It is a waste of your montly location requests
to have the device update your position every 15 minutes all day. Setting it up this way you will use 96 of your
location requests daily. By using the schedule feature you can set up the FMCN device to get the loction every
10 minutes between 8am and 5pm and not at all between 5pm and 8am. This way you use 45 location requests daily
and get your location information more frequently. A win - win situation, location requests when you need them
more frequently!
There is also a feature that will allow you to request the location at a specific time. You have 4 time slots for
this feature. For example you can set up the FMCN device to update the location at 9am, 12noon, 3pm and 6pm daily.

How long does it take to get a response from the FMCN device when

On average the response from the FMCN device is received within 2 minutes. There are many factors that govern how
fast the device responds. For example if the device is parked in a underground parking garage it may have difficulties
receiving or sending messages. |

What are the coverage areas?
One of the many benefits of the FMCN device is that it will work all over the US, Canada and Mexico. We
are using SkyTel as our major carrier. Most of the major cities in the US are well covered. You can use this link
to see if your city is covered. Skytel coverage.
We have built into the FMCN device the logic that when you move into an area of no coverage it will hold the scheduled
reqeusts until it returns to a good coverage area. This is excellent for someone who need to track their long hall
delivery vehicle. They will be going in and out of coverage and you will be able to follow them all the way.

Can I request a location at any time? Even if I have a schedule set
up?
Yes. Any of the scheduling features can be used independently. The only exception to this is if the device
is out of the coverage area it cannot receive the request. The scheduled transactions will be held in the device's
memory and transmitted when the device comes into a good coverage area. |
